Form, Clay & Character
Pupils build steady hand skills through pieces they nominate themselves — animals, masks, bowls, or figures. Clay sculptors develop pinching and coiling; mixed-media builders explore wire, paper, and glaze. Design drawing slips in painlessly via sketch sheets.

Sculpture FAQs
Which clay suits my child?
Soft air-dry clay fits most under-10s. Visit the taster and we will seat your child at the right table — loan tools are ready to borrow.
Clay or mixed media to begin?
Clay builds hand strength quickest, yet the right starter is whichever matches what your child adores making. Both routes thrive.
Do sculpture pupils exhibit?
Plenty — monthly open-studio tables, term shows, and both academy exhibitions all sit inside the plan.
