How it works
Art Feels Like Playtime
Forty-five-minute circles of at most six children rotate between mini easels, paint baskets, and painting games. No auditions, no pressure — simply color, picture, and delight. Grown-ups join the closing ten minutes to learn the home games that make practice painless.
- Circles of six at most
- Drawing, color & painting
- Parents join each week
- Mini exhibition each term

Parent questions
First Strokes FAQs
Is my four-year-old ready?
If they can clap along and sit for a story, they are ready. Sessions move every few minutes, so young attention spans thrive.
Must parents stay for the session?
Only the final ten minutes, when we teach you the week's home game. Siblings may watch quietly from the corner.
What follows First Strokes?
