Emily exhibits her own story-driven sculptures and picture books, and she brings that maker's eye into every lesson. Sculpture pupils pick their subjects; illustrators pick their stories — technique then grows around art they genuinely adore. Most of her students finish the year having drawn, built, and shown a picture of their own.
